At the junction of the main portion of Mexico and Baja, there is a little town called Puerto Peñasco, or ‘Rocky Point’. The village is right on the water, a town of winding streets where merchants sell everything from seafood to handmade pottery. About thirty miles up the road and across the bay, there is a sweet little cabin where my family and I have taken a few vacations. The cabin has several rooms with tile floors the color of caramel, and the back door opens up to the beach, just fifty steps away – or twenty-five if you’re running full-tilt into the warm azure waters!!!
