The Sciences

I read that sometimes girls don’t excel in the sciences because there is some sort of communication problem, a mix-up of languages with how boys and girls speak of lab work. I am wondering if math is its own language, like French or Hindi, that could be spoken here in the labs. Is math an abstract language that could bridge boys and girls? Or just a creative expression? How do girls talk about data? The way we talk about everything. Because everything is data. Even this letter from me to you!
