The Olympic games are starting today in London, which is a very beautiful city with gray buildings and rain. If you wear a red or black coat there it looks pretty against all the gray. In the countryside it is green and rainy with castles, and four hundred years ago princesses lived in them with beautiful, beaded dresses and drafty hallways and candles in the dancing rooms. Today everyone will be dancing in a big opening ceremony where everyone has to move at the same time in very complicated choreography. It was very expensive to put on this dance- more even than Madonna- and everyone had to practice very hard. This is a sign of excellence, to practice and practice. The athletes train and the dancers dance. And I cheer.
