This “Privacy Policy”, effective as of December 1, 2012, is designed to notify you about how we, Girl Trip LLC (“Girl Trip”), collect, use, disclose, transfer, and otherwise process personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) that we collect on the Girl Trip website (“Site”).  Each time you visit the Site, you consent to the collection, use, disclosure, and processing of Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a general audience site, and do not direct any of our content specifically at children under 13 years of age. We understand and are committed to respecting the sensitive nature of children’s privacy online. If we learn or have reason to suspect that a Site user is under age 13, we will promptly delete that user’s account.

TRAFFIC DATA COLLECTED. We automatically track and collect the following categories of non-personally identifiable information when you visit our Site: (1) IP addresses; (2) domain servers; (3) types of computers accessing the Site; and (4) types of web browsers used to access the Site (collectively “Traffic Data”). Traffic Data is anonymous information that does not personally identify you but is helpful for marketing purposes or for improving your experience on the Site. PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED. In order for you to access certain premium, services and to purchase products that we offer via the Site, we may require you to provide us with personally identifiable Personal Information. Such Personal Information includes, but is not limited to, the following categories of information: (1) Contact Data (such as your name, mailing address, and e-mail address); (2) Financial Data (such as your bank account or credit card number); and (3) Demographic Data (such as your address, zip code, age, and income). If you communicate with us by e-mail, post messages to any of our chat groups, bulletin boards, or forums, or otherwise complete online forms, surveys, or contest entries, any information provided in such communication may be collected as Personal Information.

GIRL TRIP’S USE OF INFORMATION. We may use Personal Information to register you with the Site, open an account with the Site, to process purchase orders that you place through the Site, to respond to your inquiry or the issue you pose to the Site administrator, to post your submissions to the Site and to provide information to others regarding your use of the Site.  We may also use Personal Information to notify you about products and services that may be of interest to you.

For example, we use Contact Data to send you information about our company or our products or services, or promotional material from some of our partners, or to contact you when necessary. We use your Financial Data to verify your qualifications for certain products or services and to bill you for products and services. We use your Demographic Data to customize and tailor your experience on the Site, displaying content that we think you might be interested in and according to your preferences.

Links to Other Sites. This Site may contain links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by us.  Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites or any third party sites, blogs, etc.  This privacy statement applies only to information collected by this Site.

Access to Personally Identifiable Information. If you wish to update any Personal Information you have previously provided, or to exercise any right of access, rectification, deletion, or opposition to the processing of your Personal Information that you may have under applicable law, please contact us at  We normally will be glad to fulfill your request as appropriate, but we reserve the right to use Personal Information obtained previously to verify your identity and as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.  You can also access and update your Personal Information by signing into your account with us if you have an account with us.

Security. The security of your personal information is important to us.  When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number) on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).  However, it is important to note that transmissions over the Internet are never 100% secure or error-free.  As a result, we do not, and cannot, guarantee the security, accuracy, or completeness of Personal Information.   However, we do take efforts to maintain reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to protect Personal Information against unauthorized disclosure or access.

Changes in this Privacy Statement. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time and in our sole discretion, except where prior notice or consent is required by law.  If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the home page, and other places that we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.

It will be your responsibility to check this Privacy Policy from time to time to make sure that you are aware of such change.  Any such changes will become effective as of the date of posting with respect to information that we collect in the future, but will not be changed with respect to information that we have already collected.
