When I am writing a song I go to another dimension- it’s like I get out of the way and the song just comes through me- like it flows out of me all wild and crazy and beautiful with its own rhythm and with control- like somehow my voice still has control over it. Dominion. This is a very cool and incredible feeling- it feels like being lifted up, and I have a lot of energy after I finish a song- when I come back to earth and look at it and sing it. Still, where did I go? I just got out of the way- that’s all I know- like going under water. To the bottom of the ocean. Then coming back up again. Breaking the waves.
